CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. CSS is used to define how the HTML elements should be displayed on the screen. It is one of the core components of web development. It plays a major role in providing the best user experience (UX) on a website. In simpler term CSS describe the style of the page.

CSS was developed by W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) in early 1996. In multiple ways, we can use CSS on a web page and save it with the extension .css . All the modern browsers support CSS.

In recent days, with the evolution of single-page apps and web development, there are a lot of libraries coming in the market.
